3/5

3/5

In this case, 3/5 isn’t mathematical equation, but a sign that explains the effort to continue a tradition. The Balkan’s cultural heritage is more than 2500 old, but what happened with the tradition? Is there a tradition without continuity? Neither 3, nor 5. Kosovainfest exists for 6 years now, but this will be its 5 edition because it was discontinued for one year. For every four years, we, the Homo Balkanus-es, are one year late. If these four years ahead and one year late are divided with 2 thousand years of history, it is clear why we are so far away in the provinces of the civilizations. This year we would have our sixth editions, and not fifth like it is, if only on this Balkan of ours the politics wouldn’t have meddled it’s bloody hands in the spiritual, humanistic and aesthetic work of art, especially since it can be easily transformed into a gig of the peons who are not afraid to take over the costumes of the dead ones, but only after they have killed them.

But, I don’t what to judge the politics, it is not hygienic, nor do I want to judge the artists who serve it, I only want to rebuke the Balkan’s art for still not having the strength to release itself from the hands of the artistic politicians. It is bad that we still cannot feed our self without the mercy of the political poltroons, and we think that they are crazy, while they continue to use us for a couple of bucks. Maybe these kinds of theater problems are not only typical for the Balkan, maybe the Balkan is a victim of the mentioned tardiness, which is initiated by the waiting in front of Europe's door, where the art should enter without knocking even if others cannot and open the path to the art and humanities, and not to politics.
